Experienced Topographic Land Surveyor / CAD Technician

Location: Weston Super Mare (Southwest)

We specialise in producing high-quality topographical, measured building, and underground utility surveys for a diverse ever growing client base.

Experienced land surveyor required for nationwide contracts in the construction and related industry. CSCS card required. Applicants will be proficient in the use of modern survey equipment and software to include AutoCAD. Experience in the utility sector would also be advantageous. Salary according to experience. Applicants must be flexible and able to meet very high standards and client demands.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage and deliver the execution of land and measured building surveys, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
  • Help Train, mentor, and support junior staff to ensure continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Set high standards for technical excellence and professionalism within the Industry.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure project requirements are fully understood and delivered to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of workflows, processes, and team performance.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in land surveying, including both fieldwork and post-processing, ideally with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in N4CE / AutoCAD for data processing and deliverables.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and improvement of workflows, processes, and team performance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team development.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Some staying away may be required or out of normal working hours expected.
