Sure Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our growing client in the horticulture and floral production industry. We’re on the lookout for a Stock Controller to join a dynamic, fast-paced team in the Brough area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to stock and inventory management.

Stock Controller – Immediate Start

Location: Brough (HU15)
Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour
Shifts: Sunday – Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM – Finish
Job Type: Full-Time | Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

As a Stock Controller, you\\\’ll play a crucial part in ensuring efficient stock movement and accuracy throughout the production site. You\\\’ll be working closely with production, warehouse, and quality teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing stock
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations
  • Update and maintain stock control systems with high accuracy
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure stock availability
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
  • Ensure stock areas are organised and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and production areas

About You

  • Previous experience in a stock control, inventory, or warehouse role (essential)
  • Confident using stock management systems or Excel-based tracking tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Flexible to work Sunday-Friday, early starts required
