SEN Teaching Assistants Tamworth Position: Day-to-day supply, short-term supply, and long-term placements

Pay: £83.34 - £87.34 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Supply Register is proud to work in partnership with Landau Forte Charitable Trust to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for their schools in Tamworth. As part of our exclusive talent pool, you will have the opportunity to support students across both primary and secondary settings on a flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans to meet individual needs.
  • Help students stay engaged and focused in lessons.
  • Support behaviour management and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with students' emotional and physical well-being when required.
  • Report any concerns to the appropriate school staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
  • Passion for Education: A strong commitment to supporting students with SEN.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
