Community Academies Trust (CAT) is an established and ambitious multi-academy trust with a commitment to delivering exceptional community education. We are seeking professional and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated staff bank for placements at Tamworth secondary schools, including The Wilnecote School and The Polesworth School, beginning in January 2026.
As a Cover Supervisor within CAT, you will play a crucial role in upholding the trust's high standards by ensuring the continuity of learning and a positive, disciplined environment during short-term teacher absences.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and confidently deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, fostering an environment of mutual respect.
- Ensure that students remain engaged and on-task, supporting them to achieve their potential.
- Provide clear and timely feedback to the regular class teacher.
