Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, or within your subject specialism, to meet curriculum objectives.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Support students with varying levels of ability, ensuring all learners stay engaged and on track.
- Provide feedback on student progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with staff across the school and multi-academy trust to ensure consistency in teaching standards.
- Report any safeguarding or behavioural concerns promptly in line with school policies.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Secondary Teacher: You must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is essential, particularly in your subject area (if applying for a subject-specialist role).
- Enhanced DBS Check: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
- Flexibility: Ability to teach across a variety of subjects and year groups (or within your subject specialism, if applicable).
