Secondary School Sports Coach Required Location: Stoke-on-Trent Start date: January 2025 Long term, short term and day to day opportunities available We are looking for passionate and energetic sports coaches, youth workers, and group leaders to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent! If you have a love for sports and enjoy working with young people, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children aged 11-16. Key Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate sports activities and coaching sessions for secondary school students (ages 11-16) Motivate and inspire young people to engage in physical activity and team sports Foster teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while promoting a positive attitude Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants at all times Assist with the development of students' skills and personal growth through sport Maintain discipline and manage behavior in line with school policies Assist in organising and setting up sports equipment and materials Requirements: Experience in sports coaching, youth work, or group leadership (previous experience working with children is ideal) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate young people Good organizational skills and the ability to manage group activities A positive attitude and a passion for sports and physical activity Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Us?
