Overview
Secondary Teacher to join Plymouth Cast Trust Bank. The Supply Register are a managed service working in partnership with Plymouth Cast Trust. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join the trust's bank of staff, offering consistency, regular schools and better pay.
Position Overview
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across various grade levels. You will step in for absent teachers, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students receive the support they need to continue their educational journey seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students and maintain continuity of learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication during periods of teacher absence.
- Provide feedback on student progress and maintain accurate records as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching in education settings is preferred but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
