Supply Register is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dependable PE Cover Supervisor to work across schools within the Swale Academies Trust in Eastbourne. This role is well suited to someone with a strong interest in physical education who has experience working with children and young adults, and who is happy to cover a range of subjects when required, while remaining primarily PE-focused. This is a flexible supply role, offering work from 1 to 5 days per week, with a daily start time of 8:15am, depending on your availability and school demand.
Do The Role
- Deliver pre-planned PE lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Supervise pupils and manage behaviour in line with school policies
- Cover a variety of subjects when needed (lesson plans provided)
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Work predominantly as a PE cover supervisor, with flexibility where required
Essential Requirements
- Bromcom training (essential)
- Enhanced DBS which is registered on the update service - please apply even if you do not have this as we can provide further information and support.
- Experience working with children and/or young adults
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Flexible, professional, and reliable approach
