The Supply Register are pleased to be working in partnership with L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, supporting their schools with short-, medium- and long-term staffing needs.

We are currently recruiting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across primary schools in the Wakefield and Pontefract areas. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality primary education.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupil progress
  • Assess, mark and provide feedback in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in CPD

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Good understanding of safeguarding
  • High expectations of pupils and yourself
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
