The Supply Register are pleased to be working in partnership with L.E.A.D. Academy Trust, supporting their schools with short-, medium- and long-term staffing needs.
We are currently recruiting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across primary schools in the Wakefield and Pontefract areas. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality primary education.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 and/or KS2
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Use a range of teaching strategies to support pupil progress
- Assess, mark and provide feedback in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in CPD
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Good understanding of safeguarding
- High expectations of pupils and yourself
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
