Location: Various Primary Schools within Swale Academies Trust Eastbourne
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Swale Academies Trust is seeking motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work across our primary schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support classroom teachers and work directly with pupils to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. This role is ideal for those with experience in education who want to make a positive and lasting contribution to primary education.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and learning activities
- Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
- Assist with classroom preparation and resources
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-organised classroom environment
- Provide additional support to pupils with SEND where required
- A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are an advantage but not essential
- Flexible, proactive, and reliable
