Are you a unqualifed teacher, sports coach or youth leader with a passion for teaching? The Supply Register is excited to partner with John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust to recruit enthusiastic, reliable Cover Supervisors for a variety of roles in their schools. Whether you re looking for long-term, short-term, or day-to-day cover supervision opportunities, we have flexible positions to suit your needs. We are looking for experienced and passionate teachers to provide cover for a variety of subjects, whatever your specialism, we will have opportunities available for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher.
- Ensuring students complete set work and remain on task.
- Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive, focused learning environment.
- Supporting students with their work, answering questions, and providing guidance when necessary.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Promoting a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assisting with general classroom activities as required.
Requirements
- Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in different classroom environments.
- A positive attitude and commitment to supporting students\’ learning.
