Are you looking for a career where you can use your experience in managing behaviours and supporting pupils to embrace their educational experience and overcome SEMH issues? We are seeking a motivated and progressive individual to work with a pastoral team at one of our fantastic Secondary Schools within the CORE Trust in Birmingham.

We are looking for someone to act as a Pastoral Behaviour Mentor/Year Group Coordinator to support students’ learning by focusing on behaviour, attendance and promoting personal excellence. You will work closely with staff, parents and external agencies to develop positive attitudes and approaches to learning and be the first point of contact for parents with queries about support for their child, as well as contributing to the overall management of support and care for the learners of this large all-through School.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be self-motivated, exceptionally well organised and a good team worker
  • Have a proven ability to work effectively with students and their parents/carers
  • Possess excellent communication skills as well as good IT skills

The successful candidate will be committed to young people and their development, with an understanding of the issues young people face.
