Are you an experienced and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in a supportive primary school environment? The Supply Register is seeking a skilled HLTA to join one of our partner primary schools in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to support teaching and learning while working closely with pupils to help them achieve both academically and emotionally.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education, working collaboratively with classroom teachers and supporting small groups and individual learners.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting, with a good understanding of the HLTA role
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A patient, proactive, and supportive approach to student learning and well-being
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
