The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust, to recruit a Level Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing and values-led school community that places children’s wellbeing and development at the heart of everything it does. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for a full-time long-term role to start ASAP and to continue in January in Bury Primary School. While the primary focus will be on 1:1 support, some general classroom assistance may also be required.
Ideal Candidate
- Be kind, patient, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children
- Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)
- Be confident working 1:1 and as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Be reliable, proactive, and able to follow instructions while using initiative
- Hold a relevant Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification
