Children's Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children’s Social Worker with over 5 years of experience to join our team. As a proficient Children’s Social Worker, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, carrying out assessments, developing care plans, and providing ongoing support to children and families in need. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children, ensuring their safety, stability, and emotional well-being., Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs and risks.

Develop and implement care plans, offering tailored support to children and their families.

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health, education, and legal professionals.

Ensure the welfare and safety of children in care, following child protection procedures and legislation.

Provide emotional support and guidance to children and families, promoting resilience and independence.

Participate in meetings and reviews to monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Keep accurate and up-to-date case records and reports in compliance with statutory requirements.

Social Work degree and HCPC registration.

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in children’s social work.

Proficiency in assessing complex cases, care planning, and multi-agency working.

Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.

Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
