Social Worker Grade 10 - Social Care Qualified
- Manage a varied caseload of children, young people and families, providing high-quality, child-centred social work.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, care plans and reviews, identifying needs, risks and appropriate interventions.
- Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, carers and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Lead on safeguarding and child protection work, responding confidently to complex and high-risk situations.
- Undertake direct work with children and families, ensuring their wishes, feelings and lived experiences inform decision-making.
- Work closely with schools, health professionals, police, fostering services and other agencies as part of a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Prepare clear, analytical and evidence-based reports, assessments and court documentation within required timescales.
- Represent children and young people at reviews, conferences, strategy meetings, panels and court hearings where required.
- Use professional judgement to manage complex cases, risk and challenging situations, ensuring decisions are evidence-based and focused on children's best interests.
- Access regular supervision and professional development while maintaining accurate records, statutory compliance and high professional standards.
