We are looking for a Chef De Partie for a new site opening in Osmington Mills. Following a complete refurbishment of the pub, gardens and surrounding accommodation, we have just reopened The Sunray.

The Sunray is the newest addition to the Fired-Up Collective, a boutique group of restaurants and pubs on the South Coast comprising of Nusara, The Old Thatch, The Goods Yard, The Greyhound and The Old Beams. The portfolio is looked after by one succinct, dynamic Management team and our employees benefit from being part of this family orientated ethos as well as having the ability to move across brands and look for career opportunities within the group and not just for progression within their site.

We are looking for a strong CDP with at least one year experience in a busy pub or restaurant kitchen. We serve refined pub classics, alongside seasonal dishes and rotate weekly specials. You will have strong knowledge of multiple sections, and be ready to bolster the brigade throughout varying menus and services. This can be a part time or full time position, with flexible hours available over the course of three services.

Criteria:
  • Experience working in kitchens in a busy restaurant or pub environment
  • Excels in running and maintaining excellent relationships with a team of staff
  • Drive to excel and progress within a professional kitchen
  • A genuine passion for the industry, and the food you're creating
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred however not essential
