Your Role: The Sun is hiring a Political Correspondent to work in our formidable Lobby team in Westminster. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to break agenda-setting political scoops from the corridors of power, and tell the stories that matter to our readers. Working across the newspaper, website, and social channels, the successful candidate will be a talented journalist across all platforms. This is a job like no other that offers a front-row seat to some of the most consequential moments in Britain and around the world. Reporting to the Political Editor, it is a chance for an ambitious reporter to cover the biggest political stories for the country’s number-one news brand.

- The ability to cover breaking news in real time with accuracy and diligence
