Your role
We are looking for a Production Assistant to join The Sun Video production team on a permanent basis, supporting the growth of The Sun Video department across Sport, Fabulous Mag, Showbiz, Royals and News. This role is suited to someone who is familiar with end‑to‑end video processes and has previous experience in broadcast or media production. You’ll play a key role in the video team, supporting all aspects of production whilst regularly liaising with editorial and technical teams. You’ll be a strong communicator who is organised, confident and hands‑on.
Day to day you will:
- Assist in pre‑production shoot logistics such as travel, talent onboarding, accommodation, catering and crew booking
- Support crew on set, greet and coordinate talent, enforce health and safety protocols, help to pack and transport kit
- Take the lead on administrative tasks such as talent release forms, call sheet and risk assessment drafts for approval, invoice processing and detailed meeting notes
- Organise media assets in post‑production, push delivery along according to project schedules and coordinate media logging with producers and editors

- Comfortable working at pace and adapting to changing priorities
- Confident working directly with senior editorial, production and technical stakeholders
- Basic technical knowledge of the Adobe Suite, Slack and Google Sheets
