Job Summary: We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our park stays well-maintained, clean, and inviting. You will be responsible for all grounds maintenance duties, ensuring that green spaces are immaculate and that facilities are kept in top condition. This role offers a variety of tasks and is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards
  • Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery
  • Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds
  • General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas
  • Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas
  • Distributing deliveries to relevant departments
  • Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges
  • Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations
  • Litter picking and keeping park areas clean

Requirements

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality
  • Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage
  • Plumbing experience would be beneficial, though not essential
  • Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance
