Your Team: Be part of a dynamic and evolving team at The Sun, driving digital growth and performance. Sitting within the Sun Business Unit at News UK, Sun Publishing is responsible for sales, operations, commercial product strategy, and partnerships across The Sun’s platforms. Our team works collaboratively to create compelling digital strategies that drive revenue and user engagement.

Your Role: The CRM Manager will support the CRM Lead and CRM executives, responsible for the management and delivery of cross channel campaigns. You will be data literate, with a technical understanding of campaign management and optimisation.

Day to day you will:

  • Transform marketing briefs into high-quality, omni-channel campaigns, ensuring all content, links and assets align with the original request.
  • Use our data and delivery platforms to query new and existing audiences.
  • Support Acquisition and Retention teams in identifying additional opportunities for targeting, segmentation and personalisation.
  • Lead on testing and quality checks of every campaign, including validating dynamic content logic and checking the technical set up within the deployment platforms.
  • Foster a culture of CRM best practice, GDPR and legal compliance.
  • Monitor automated processes, delivery rates, bounce rates and unsubscribes, flagging data discrepancies or issues to Senior team members.
  • Use tools such as HighTouch CDP, Adobe Campaign, Braze and Google Big Query to support CRM Lead on data integration and requirements to deliver optimum delivery and results.
  • Use your platform expertise to advise on capabilities and opportunities for efficiencies and optimisation.
  • Support optimisation and testing plans, providing recommendations on optimisation and sharing learnings to key stakeholders.
  • Lead on creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Data, Analytics and Product to scope requirements and implement new data feeds and solutions.
  • Maintain the Self Serve Newsletter creative and audience functions, providing training and technical support to Newsletter Editors.
  • Troubleshoot errors and work with relevant teams to identify issues and resolutions.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Experience using CRM marketing platforms.
  • Comfortable using a SQL database.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience of Adobe campaign, Moveable Inc, High Touch and Tableau is desired but not compulsory.
  • Comfortable using data to inform decision making.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Passionate about The Sun brand.
