About the role
Join Park Holidays UK as a Lifeguard, ensuring safety and delivering excellent customer service in a fun, dynamic holiday park environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise swimming pools and water-based activities, ensuring guest safety.
- Act quickly in emergencies, providing first aid and maintaining calm under pressure.
- Conduct regular checks of pool equipment and water quality to ensure safe, working conditions.
- Enforce all water safety rules and regulations, preventing accidents and injuries.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to guests, answering questions and helping when needed.
- Support routine pool maintenance duties, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Strong swimming skills and excellent physical fitness.
- Thorough understanding of water safety rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service while ensuring safety.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and peak times during the season.
- Subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including check against Children's Barred List.
- Current lifeguard certification from a recognised organisation (e.g., NPLQ).
