Support with accessing the community and increasing independence. Eg eating out, taking to and taking part in fun activities/sports of the young person’s choice, going to the cinema.

Skills and Experience

  • Able to act in an understanding, patient, trustworthy, calm and non‑judgemental manner
  • Have a confident, fun, enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Experience of working with young people with learning disabilities/neurodivergence
  • Able to support young person with maintaining expectations and communication boundaries
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to use them when required
