Responsibilities
- Support the administration of transport, accommodation and venue bookings for Sports Club and Society trips.
- Set up and monitor ticketing and booking deadlines through relevant Students' Union systems, ensuring bookings are processed within agreed timescales.
- Liaise with students, Club and Society Committee Members, and external providers regarding booking requirements and travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, participant information, travel arrangements and associated documentation.
- Process bookings in line with The Students' Union financial procedures and approval processes.
- Act as a point of contact within the Opportunities Team, including meeting and greeting customers and signposting enquiries where appropriate.
- Respond to emails sent to the main Opportunities Department inbox.
- Administratively operate the membership database, ticketing and reporting systems (MSL).
- Provide administrative support across various areas of work within the Opportunities Department.
- Move and store equipment and undertake cleaning duties where required.
- Support wider Students' Union activities and departmental projects as required.
Skills and Experience
- Previous customer service experience would be great!
- Experience of managing own workload and multi-tasking
- IT skills & good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel & Outlook
- Confident telephone manner
- Good communicator to a wide range of persons
- Trustworthy/honest
- Friendly/helpful manner
- Reliable & punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Ability to complete manual handling tasks
Hours
15-20 hours per week term time only (Term 1 and 2).
Hourly Rate
Β£15.07 per hour (Includes holiday rate)
