However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings).

Salary: circa ÂŁ35,100 per annum (inner London weighting ÂŁ3,950 per annum/pro rata or outer London weighting ÂŁ2,457 per annum/pro rata may be applied in accordance with where you live).

Hours: 35 hours per week. This is a 12-month fixed-term post – Maternity Cover.

We’re looking for an experienced Events Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse, UK‐wide programme of events that support our organisational goals and create meaningful value for our audiences. Reporting to the Events Lead, you’ll oversee a portfolio that includes conferences, supporter and beneficiary events, and virtual, hybrid and in‐person activity. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to plan, deliver and evaluate high‐quality events.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, manage and deliver an insight‐led programme of events.
  • Project manage complex events, including large‐scale conferences and fundraising events.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver events against briefs, budgets and KPIs.
  • Monitor performance and evaluate impact, using data and feedback to improve future delivery.
  • Deliver event budgets, suppliers and contracts.
  • Lead on event Health & Safety and ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Share learning and champion innovation across the events portfolio.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience managing a range of events, including large or complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of event planning, compliance and best practice.
  • Experience delivering to budgets, as well as managing suppliers and contracts.
  • Confidence using data and insight to guide decisions.
  • Strong communication and relationship‐building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and work flexibly when required.

This role requires extensive travel across the UK. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role. To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
