The predicted salary is between 36000 - 36000 £ per year.

However, regular travel around England will be required, as well as occasional travel to the rest of the UK.

Salary Circa £36,000 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,457 per annum may be applied in accordance to where you live) | 35 hours per week | Permanent

The Public Affairs Officer England delivers our organisation’s public affairs activity. This includes:

  • Working with the rest of the UK wide Policy & Influencing team, and the England Locality teams, to plan and deliver effective influencing activity on key issues impacting people affected by stroke
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including parliamentarians, civil servants, NHS colleagues, clinicians and other decision makers who can influence and shape stroke policy
  • Attend, and support others to attend, meetings and events representing the Stroke Association
  • Developing high-quality briefings for the CEO and senior members of staff
  • Political monitoring and horizon scanning

This role requires regular travel to London, and occasional travel across England and the UK for parliamentary meetings and events, team awaydays, and constituency meetings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.
