We are a small, independent beachside café with a strong reputation for quality food and a loyal local following. We are now looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen on a full-time basis as we move into the season ahead. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a chef who values well-run services, good ingredients, and a balanced working week. The kitchen operates primarily during daytime hours, with weekend evening services as part of seasonal trade.

THE ROLE

  • Lead day-to-day kitchen operations in a compact, professional kitchen
  • Deliver consistent, well-executed food and presentation
  • Contribute to menu development within the style and scale of the café
  • Manage ordering, stock control, and food safety standards
  • Work closely with front-of-house to ensure smooth, calm service
