Teachers Main Scale September 2026 Full-time, permanent position available. Learning a foreign language provides an opening to other cultures which is underpinned by high-quality language education that fosters pupils’ curiosity and deepens their understanding of the world. We are looking to appoint a dynamic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher who is innovative, inspiring, and can deliver an authentic French and/or Spanish curriculum that engages our students. The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate about their subject and inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for languages. Any subject combination of French and Spanish will be considered. Patterns of working will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- The post will involve working with the Curriculum Area Lead for MFL on the strategic oversight, preparation and delivery of French and Spanish across Key Stage 3-5, ensuring that students make progress through quality first teaching.
- The post holder will have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to their subject and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration ensuring the continual improvement of the quality of students' learning is at the top of the Trust's agenda.
- The ability to teach French at KS3 level and Spanish KS3-5 level is essential.
- The ability to teach French at KS4 & KS5 level is desirable, although not essential.
