We need an experienced assistant catering/café manager to take responsibility for the delivery of the daily F&B operations including basic food prep and stock orders. You will have a keen eye for detail, be interested in driving sales and have the skills to train and motivate young teams. This is an interim post whilst we explore future opportunities. Flexible hours and days available for the right applicant. Contract length approx 4-5 months.

Main purposes of the role:

  • Deliver a high quality, consistent and relevant food and drink offer to complement the Museum offer.
  • Work alongside the Hospitality & Events Manager to oversee operational performance; supporting initiatives to drive sales and implement new ideas.
  • Line manage the visitor services assistants; setting the rota, holding 1-2-1s and training.
  • Oversee stock control and product orders.
