The Bars

We have two bars, perfect for any season or occasion. Our vast statement bar is located on the ground floor, with street views and an adjacent fireside snug. The other is an unexpected rooftop terrace with breathtaking views over the Oxford skyline and its iconic dreaming spires.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Floor: Run smooth, high-energy shifts from open to close, directing the team and keeping the vibe alive.
  • Elevate Service: Keep drink quality high, service fast, and guests smiling.
  • Manage the Details: Handle cash reconciliations, safe drops, and opening/closing checklists.
  • Control Stock: Assist with stock takes, monitor wastage, and ensure the bar is always fully prepped.
  • Mentor Talent: Coach and motivate bar staff, sharing your passion and product knowledge.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: At least 1–2 years working in a busy, fast-paced bar environment – ideal but not essential.
  • Leadership: A natural leader who stays calm under pressure and leads by example. A positive, proactive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
