We're looking for a Purchasing Assistant to support a busy procurement team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. It's a role for someone who enjoys organisation and likes working with data.
You'll work closely with the Purchasing Manager, helping to keep suppliers, forecasts, contracts, and product information organised and up to date. One minute you'll be updating forecasts, the next you'll be helping launch a new ingredient, supporting a tender process, or investigating why a supplier's pricing doesn't quite add up.
- Supporting procurement projects and tender activity
- Maintaining contracts and purchasing data within the MRP system
- Working closely with Technical, NPD, Planning and Operations teams
Requirements:
- Strong administration skills
- Good Excel and IT skills
- Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or food manufacturing would be beneficial
