This is a hands-on Packaging Technologist role where you’ll be involved from concept through to launch — developing packaging, running trials, solving issues on site and making sure everything works properly in production.
You won’t just be managing specifications from behind a desk. You’ll be working closely with NPD, QA, Operations, suppliers and design agencies to get packaging right.
The role
- Managing packaging development from concept through to launch
- Coordinating artwork, reprographics and print quality with design agencies
- Leading packaging trials and supporting new product launches
- Troubleshooting packaging issues alongside QA and Operations
- Managing packaging specifications, compliance and technical requirements
- Identifying cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities
- Working with suppliers and keeping up with new packaging materials and trends
