As a QA Technologist, you’ll work closely with the QA Supervisor and QA Technician to ensure that all products meet both company and customer quality standards across raw materials, manufacturing, and packaging processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with industry standards such as BRC, CLAS, HACCP, and customer-specific codes of practice.
There is no such thing as a typical day-to-day in the food industry, but this role will see you responsible for:
- Monitor and manage non-conforming product via ‘on hold’ procedures.
- Perform quality checks on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
- Maintain documentation for traceability and quality control.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audit readiness.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.
- Support technicians on shift and assist with team briefings and CCP training.
- Analyse lab results.
- Generate Certificates of Analysis and manage environmental microbiological data.
You will be working in a supportive team, a forward-thinking business and working with some firm favourites when it comes down to the product ranges.
