NPD Technician – Where Food Innovation Begins
Do you live for food? Love experimenting with ingredients, creating new flavours, and seeing your ideas turn into real products on supermarket shelves and restaurant menus?
This isn’t just another kitchen job. As an NPD Technician, you’ll be right at the heart of food innovation, testing, creating, and supporting the development of new products that could end up on plates across the UK (think big UK names!).
This is a role for someone who wants to get hands-on with product development and learn the ropes of the full NPD process, from the very first idea to the final product launch.

What you’ll be doing:
- Creating product samples for customer tastings and internal innovation sessions
- Supporting new product launches (from concept to reality)
- Working with ingredients, suppliers, and real-world product trials
- Helping maintain high standards in the NPD kitchens and factory areas
- Collaborating across teams and sites to make sure projects run smoothly
- Playing a key role in presentations, tastings, and supplier meetings
What you’ll need:
- At least 2 years’ experience in food, catering, or NPD roles
- A passion for food and creativity in the kitchen
- Great organisation, time management, and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to learn
