This Facilities Manager role is a key leadership position within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. As the Facilities Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing site engineering and facilities, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and keeping the factory running efficiently. This is a mix between a leadership and hands-on Facilities Manager position, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front while staying technically involved.

What you’ll be responsible for as Facilities Manager:

  • Leading day-to-day engineering and facilities activity as the site Facilities Manager
  • Planning and prioritising maintenance work to minimise machinery downtime
  • Driving asset care standards and improving long-term equipment reliability
  • Coordinating maintenance and facilities priorities with production teams
  • Managing facilities, building services and general site maintenance
  • Supervising and developing a team of Maintenance staff

What we’re looking for in a Facilities Manager:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in an engineering or facilities role within an FMCG environment (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Previous experience in a Facilities Manager, Engineering Supervisor or similar role
