A well-established food manufacturer is looking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic NPD Technologist to join their growing technical and innovation team. Responsibilities for the NPD Technologist:
- Supporting the development of new food products from concept through to launch
- Assisting with factory trials, product sampling, and product evaluations
- Working closely with Technical, Production, Quality, and Commercial teams
- Helping maintain accurate product specifications and technical documentation
- Assisting with customer submissions and product approvals
- Ensuring all products meet food safety, quality, and retailer standards
- Supporting continuous improvement and innovation projects across the site
Requirements for the NPD Technologist:
- A passion for food, innovation, and product development
- A degree or qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related subject preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous placement or internship experience within food manufacturing would be advantageous, but not essential
