Business Development Manager – Food/Drink | Leisure, Travel & Education

This is a genuine new business role.

You’ll be responsible for opening doors, finding new customers and building the brand across sectors including leisure, travel, entertainment, theme parks, cinemas, bowling, mini golf and higher education.

If you enjoy hunting down opportunities, getting in front of decision-makers and turning a prospect into a customer, this is the kind of role where you can make a real difference.

The role

  • Identifying and targeting new customers across leisure, travel, entertainment, theme parks and higher education
  • Opening doors with key decision-makers and developing new commercial relationships
  • Building and managing a strong new business pipeline from prospecting through to close
  • Creating commercial proposals, negotiating terms and winning new business
  • Working closely with internal teams to bring new customers on board successfully
  • Identifying new sectors, customers and opportunities to help build the brand

What they’re looking for

  • The ideal candidate will already have experience selling food, drinks or FMCG products into leisure, travel, entertainment or higher education.
  • Enjoys hunting for new business and opening doors
  • Knows how to turn an initial conversation into a genuine commercial opportunity
  • Builds relationships quickly and naturally
  • Enjoys being out in the market rather than managing everything from behind a desk

You’re joining a business with the financial backing, infrastructure and expertise of a major food group, but with a relatively new brand that still has plenty of room to grow.

You won’t be inheriting a saturated market or simply maintaining existing accounts.

There are doors to open, customers to win and new channels to build!
