We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an ambitious and rapidly scaling food production business that has seen exceptional growth in recent years. This is a hands-on engineering role where your skills will directly support production reliability and operational performance across a state-of-the-art facility.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring plant equipment and systems run safely, smoothly, and reliably in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You'll be part of a maintenance team that keeps production uptime high and supports continuous improvement in operational performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Resolve breakdowns and deliver planned maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control systems.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Fault-find and repair production machinery and supporting equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement and improve preventative schedules to maximise equipment reliability.
- Continuous Improvement Support: Contribute ideas and practical solutions to reduce downtime and improve performance.
Experience you’ll need
- Engineering experience - Mechanical or Electrical as training will be provided.
- Confident in fault diagnosis and problem solving across a range of plant systems.
- Practical, results-focused approach to maintaining production-critical assets.
- Has experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (doesn’t have to be Food or FMCG).
