This Facilities Manager role is a key leadership position within a fast–paced FMCG manufacturing environment. As the Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing site engineering and facilities, site services, building services as well as ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and keeping the factory running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front while staying technically involved.

What you'll be responsible for as Facilities Manager:

  • Leading day–to–day engineering and facilities activity as the site Facilities Manager
  • Planning and prioritising maintenance work to minimise machinery downtime
  • Driving asset care standards and improving long–term equipment reliability
  • Coordinating maintenance and facilities priorities with production teams
  • Managing facilities, building services and general site maintenance
  • Supervising and developing a team of Maintenance staff

Requirements for the Facilities Manager:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience in an engineering or facilities role within an FMCG environment (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Previous experience in a Facilities Manager, Engineering Manager or similar role
