It’s a hands-on operational HR role where you’ll be visible across the site rather than stuck behind a desk. The site is going through a major transformation following an £80m investment, so there’s plenty happening — and HR is right in the middle of it.
You’ll support around 450–550 employees, working closely with managers across the site and getting involved in:
- Employee relations, disciplinaries and grievances
- Absence management and Occupational Health
- Coaching and advising line managers
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Employee engagement and retention
- HR projects and continuous improvement
- Trade union and employee relations
- HR reporting, systems and compliance
What’s needed? Ideally 3–5 years' generalist HR experience, with solid ER and absence management exposure. FMCG/manufacturing experience would be a big plus, alongside CIPD or equivalent experience.
Hybrid setup with a WFH Friday. Plus 25 days' holiday + birthday, 14.5% pension, option to buy 5 additional days and enhanced family-friendly benefits.
If you’re ready for an HR Advisor role with genuine responsibility and plenty going on, this could be a good one.
