Not every HR role gives you the chance to help shape a team. Some are about keeping the wheels turning. This one is about helping build something better. You'll be joining a newly formed HR team with a clear goal: raise the profile of HR across the business and become genuine partners to managers, not just the people they call when something's gone wrong.

The role involves providing hands-on, generalist HR support across a busy manufacturing site, working closely with managers to solve problems, develop people, and improve the employee experience. No two days will look the same. You could be coaching a manager through a difficult conversation in the morning, supporting recruitment after lunch, and wrapping up an employee relations case before you head home.

  • Advising managers on all aspects of HR and employment law
  • Managing investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Coaching managers to build confidence in people management
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies
  • Assisting with payroll and HR administration
  • Supporting HR audits and compliance
  • Helping drive a positive, people-first culture across the site
