You would support the business by delivering high-quality site services under the direction of the Facilities Leader and/or Engineering Manager. The role involves carrying out general engineering tasks while ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance are maintained.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contractor Management: Verify contractor documentation, complete permits, and supervise contractors while on-site.
  • Ensure legal compliance of facilities in collaboration with the Facilities Leader.
  • Perform general maintenance and repair of site services.
  • Conduct ladder inspections, manage the system, and implement repairs as needed.
  • Carry out plant room checks and Penstock valve preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Complete weekly fire alarm checks and report any defects.
  • Support office relocations, including managing telephone and desk moves.
  • Perform general non-safety-critical engineering tasks under the supervision of the Engineering Supervisors and/or Manager.
  • Handle other site maintenance and service-related duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential:
  • Background in plumbing and site services.
  • Gas Safe qualification required.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • General IT literacy.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in a factory environment.
  • Familiarity with HVAC and humidification systems.
