Engineering Team Lead – Food Manufacturing
Monday – Friday Day Shift
Overview
This is a great opportunity for an Engineering Team Lead or Engineering Supervisor Engineer to move in to a growing and successful company in the food manufacturing industry.
The role will involve managing the day to day work for an engineering team as well as medium and longer-term goals and performance.
Combining this with hands-on engineering work, you\’ll be sure to keep busy in a varied role.
Responsibilities for the Engineering Team Lead
- Managing day-to-day maintenance schedules and plans for a team of engineers.
- Also working across hands-on maintenance in both a proactive and reactive capacity.
- Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations).
- Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes and machine output.
- Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site.
Requirements for the Engineering Team Lead
- Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
- Experience working as a senior engineer or in a more senior engineering position such as Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Team Leader.
- Ideally, prior experience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
- Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
