A leading manufacturer is looking to hire a maintenance engineer and is ready to onboard immediately. As a maintenance engineer, you will be joining a structured department where you will ensure the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained.
With recent investment on site, this is a good opportunity for someone to join a growing site where the role will vary across maintenance, reliability, improvements and project work. Working a 4 on 4 off shift, this will be perfect for someone looking for extended time off between shift rotations.
Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer:- Proactive maintenance and site PMs
- Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
- Working across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
- Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
- Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes and machine output
- Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
- Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
- Experience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
- Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
