This is a high-impact role with a food ingredients business. We re talking commercial finance in its purest form partnering with sales, shaping strategy, and influencing decisions that directly affect the bottom line.
You ll be supporting the commercial team, acting as the financial conscience of the function. That means analysing performance, recommending pricing strategies, and helping protect margin in the face of raw material volatility.
What you ll be doing:
- Analysing customer, product and contract profitability
- Supporting pricing strategy and commercial decision-making
- Partnering with sales to drive performance and identify growth opportunities
- Helping with budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting
- Presenting financial insight to non-finance teams in a way that makes sense
- Tracking commercial incentive schemes and contributing to business improvement
What you ll need:
- Ideally Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Commercially sharp, ideally with FMCG or manufacturing experience
- Strong Excel skills and a love for turning data into direction
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing decisions
- You ll report to the Head of Commercial Finance and work closely with both site teams and the central finance function. The culture s no-nonsense, team-first and commercially switched on.
