You know that feeling when you spot something broken and can't unsee it. The wasted step. The clunky handover. The process that works but shouldn't. If you're the kind of person who naturally asks why do we do it like this? and actually enjoys fixing the answer, this role will feel very familiar.

This isn't a CI role where you live in PowerPoint and hope someone else delivers the change. This is a hands-on role where you lead it, embed it, and see the results on the floor. In this standalone role, you'll be trusted to shape how continuous improvement really works across the site. Not as a side project. Not as a slogan. As part of how the business runs every day.

What you'll actually be doing:

  • Acting as the site expert for continuous improvement, coaching teams and building capability, not dependency
  • Identifying where time, money and effort are being wasted and doing something about it
  • Using data properly to prioritise improvements and track what's genuinely working
  • Leading projects that directly impact labour, materials and overheads
  • Creating a culture where people take ownership of safety, quality, service, cost and performance, not wait to be told

In short: you'll help the site move faster, think clearer and operate better.

What we're looking for:

  • Solid experience in continuous or process improvement
  • Someone who can influence, challenge and bring people with them
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional change
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • A self-starter who doesn't need a rulebook to add value
  • An eye for detail and a low tolerance for inefficiency
  • Experience in food manufacturing is preferred, but not essential. If you've led real hands-on improvement in a manufacturing environment, you'll find your feet quickly.

Why this role?

Because your work will be visible. Because your ideas will be listened to. Because improvement won't stop at the suggestion box. If you want a role where you can leave things better than you found them, this one's worth a closer look.
