Account Manager (Lidl – UK, Ireland & Europe) - FTC Maternity Cover

Own Label FMCG - Manchester (Hybrid) – Salary Circa Β£60,000 (Flexible)

This is not a β€œkeep the lights on” contract role. It's a high-profile own label retail account with real scale, multiple territories, and plenty of moving parts. You'll be dealing directly with buyers, managing complexity, and keeping projects on track without layers of bureaucracy to hide behind. In short, this is a commercially important account where what you do genuinely matters.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning the Lidl account across the UK, Northern Ireland and Europe
  • Working directly with buyers in Germany
  • Managing own label projects end-to-end: product changes, artwork, technical queries, launches, and improvements
  • Acting as the central point between commercial, technical, NPD and the factory
  • Keeping multiple projects moving at pace, without things falling over

What they're looking for:

  • Proven own label experience in Food/FMCG (non-negotiable)
  • Background in Account Management, Technical Account Management, Product Management or Product Development
  • Comfortable dealing directly with major retailers
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and able to juggle a lot of moving parts
  • Happy being in Manchester around two days a week

Interim candidates are very welcome.
