I'm supporting a large scale food manufacturer as they look to appoint a Technical Compliance Manager to own food safety and quality compliance across branded and retailer own label products.
If you enjoy being the person who knows the standards inside out, leads audits with authority, and makes sure compliance is embedded into daily operations, you'll feel at home here.

You own technical compliance. You make sure food safety and quality systems are robust, current, and lived on site, not just written down. You lead internal, customer, and third party audits, announced or otherwise, and you drive corrective actions that actually stick. You work closely with Quality and Operations to raise standards, improve systems, and make customer audits run smoothly. You build clear documentation and training aligned to HACCP and BRC, and you report honestly to senior leadership on where the business stands and where it needs to improve.
This role is for you if
- You have strong working knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, and BRC.
- You have held a similar technical, QA, or compliance role within fresh produce or retail supply.
- You are comfortable challenging, influencing, and setting expectations on the factory floor.
- You like structure, detail, and accountability, and you don't shy away from ownership.
Useful extras
