Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Monday to Friday – 08:00–16:00 ONLY
Fed up with shifts, nights and giving up your weekends?

No rotating shifts.
No night shifts.
No weekend working.
And to top it off, the site has a Christmas shutdown, so you can enjoy the festive period with your family and friends without worrying about work.
You'll be joining an established engineering team, working across a variety of production equipment and site services. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, so you'll never be stuck doing the same thing every day.
What will you be doing?
You'll be involved in:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine checks.
- Responding to breakdowns and getting equipment back up and running.
- Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and control systems.
- Finding the root cause of problems rather than just fixing the immediate issue.
- Helping to keep production equipment safe, reliable and running efficiently.
- Supporting improvement projects and new equipment installations.
- Keeping maintenance records and the CMMS up to date.
- Working closely with the production team to keep things running smoothly.
- Supporting engineering improvements across the site.
- Taking part in the engineering call-out rota when required.
What are we looking for?
We're not expecting you to tick every box. If you're a good all-round Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical skills, we'd like to hear from you.
You'll ideally have:
- An engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 engineering qualification.
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, production or an industrial environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with PPM and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and control systems.
- Experience working safely with isolation and permit-to-work procedures.
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to get stuck in and solve problems.
Experience with PLCs, drives, robotics, 18th Edition or within food/regulated manufacturing would be a bonus — but don't worry if you don't have everything.
