I’m supporting a large scale food manufacturer as they look to appoint a Technical Compliance Manager to own food safety and quality compliance across branded and retailer own label products.

The job
- You own technical compliance.
- You make sure food safety and quality systems are robust, current, and lived on site, not just written down.
- You lead internal, customer, and third party audits, announced or otherwise, and you drive corrective actions that actually stick.
- You work closely with Quality and Operations to raise standards, improve systems, and make customer audits run smoothly.
- You build clear documentation and training aligned to HACCP and BRC, and you report honestly to senior leadership on where the business stands and where it needs to improve.

- You have strong working knowledge of food safety legislation, HACCP, and BRC.
- You have held a similar technical, QA, or compliance role within fresh produce or retail supply.
- You are comfortable challenging, influencing, and setting expectations on the factory floor.
- You like structure, detail, and accountability, and you don’t shy away from ownership.
